Weight, in grams
How heavy is a gsm?
Choose by weight, not by colour.
Grams per square metre tell you how a sheet will behave. Lighter paper takes more layers and finer points; heavier paper holds its shape and stands on a shelf.

Kozo Foil is between batches.
The foil is laminated for us by a small workshop in Takefu, a few streets away, and the next run arrives in early February. Leave your email and we will write once, the day it is back. Price stays ¥2,860.

Delivery and returns
Before you order
- Japan
- ¥900 by Yamato, 1–2 days. Orders in by 14:00 leave the same day.
- Worldwide
- ¥2,400 by EMS, 5–10 days, tracked. Free over ¥15,000.
- Packing
- Washi sheets are rolled in a kraft tube; kami travels flat between boards in a glassine sleeve.
- Returns
- Unopened sleeves and tubes within 30 days for a full refund. Custom packs are replaced if damaged.
